Quality Management Systems
- We are advocates for the use of QMS software, and offer support for its acquisition and installation
- As nifty as it is, QMS software alone isn't enough to demonstrate compliance
- Quality must be addressed in the Management Systems Manual, the Quality Manual, and in Quality Procedures
- Evidence of compliance is required
- Staff training and changing the organization's culture is almost always involved
- We are change agents to implement QMS and compliance
The Perspective of the ISO 9000 Series of Standards
- The ISO 9000 series of standards are process oriented and not written "down to the working level"
- Other standards exist which ARE written down to the working level and allow you to demonstrate compliance with ISO 9000 with some minor modifications.
- It makes economic sense to use existing standards, where practicable, instead of "reinventing the wheel" and creating a unique set for your company.
